When the Storm is Raging in Our Lives
After the Storm
Sistas,
there are not enough positive words in the human vocabulary to describe the magnificent
life God intended us to have. He has already given us everything we need to live
powerfully, and to continue to abound in spiritual matters. Spiritual
gifts are the meat of life. Never, ever allow yourself to stop growing. There is nothing
stagnant about the Christian experience. If you are not growing in the fellowship you're
attending, PRAY, and MOVE as God leads you. Stretch out, TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD! What do you
have to lose? He wont fail you, Sistas. Just move out boldly!
We believe that remembering the following great truths with assist you to continue
to thrive in all that God has given you:
od is not the architect of our storms, but he has designed
a way out. The root cause of many of our tribulations is that we have tried to fit our
sin, bad behavior, and worldly pleasures into a Godly lifestyle. It is extremely
difficult to move further spiritually if we are unwilling to take ownership of the poor
choices we may have made.
God is all-powerful, and all knowing. He knows all about
our trouble and He has masterfully designed a way out that will be satisfying to our soul
and beneficial to our spiritual growth.
God is a God of order. We must align ourselves with His
Word and act as He says to act, be what He says to be, and do what He
says to do. He will not recreate the rules so that we can win our way. Everything He does
is based on love. We must follow His rules to win the game.
GIVING equals RECEIVING. We must extend ourselves and show
the love of Jesus Christ to others, even while battling our storm, Receiving will then be
automatic.
ACTION and PERSEVERANCE are absolutely and unequivocally
required to see results. You must not be impatient and become depressed when you do not
see results within your time frame. CONSISTENCY = RESULTS.
The decisions we make today will determine our reality
tomorrow.
We must understand who we are in Christ, and we must
seek out God's PLAN AND PURPOSE for our lives.
