Can women have it all? There was a time in Christianity, where women were relegated only to certain roles, and there was little room within them to step outside those boundaries. This is no longer true. Today, we can enjoy tremendous fulfillment in every aspect of our lives, but it requires us to be wise in spiritual discernment. The word ‘ALL’ to the modern woman probably means a great marriage, career, family life, friends, and recreation. We want to pack every moment of the day with something meaningful and fulfilling to do; this is how many of people define a good life.
The word ‘all’ to Heavenly Father means ‘everything’. It includes His ability and willingness to bless us in every season, in every way, at all times. This is truly good news indeed!
Multi-tasking is a great quality to have, but even when we have this skill in abundance, we can never prepare for the curve balls that life will ultimately throw us. We need the power of the Holy Spirit that God has made available to every born-again believer. We can enjoy our husbands and home-life, harmony in the workplace, have terrific friends, and have financial abundance, all at the same time, but we can never forget that we couldn’t possibly hold all these pieces together ourselves. God is the glue, and as long as we make our time with Him a priority, all the other aspects of our lives will flow together beautifully.
