Don’t miss your blessing. There is very definitely something wonderful slated to happen in your life soon. Some of us have had more disappointments and let downs by circumstances and relationships than we ever thought we could handle. Because of this, we’re afraid to cast our hope on something we can’t control, but this is the essence of the faith walk. Things may be coming against you, and people are trying to undermine your confidence. They want to diminish your vision, because doing so makes them comfortable with their lack of faith. There are little situations popping up to needle your nerves, and to get you off balance so that your focus is compromised. Understand something beloved Sisters, you must push through all of the distractions and cast aside the troubling emotions they might cause. You must be extremely strategic in this hour, and I want to tell you why.
In Proverbs 14:12 and Proverbs 16:25, God warns us that there is a path before each of us that seems right, but it will end in destruction. Oh, how we greatly underestimate the heft of this warning. In John 10:10, Jesus Christ tells us who the devil is and how the devil operates. Jesus wants us to realize that the enemy’s got tricks, and he knows how to use them. One of the ways he uses them is to present us with situations and circumstances that appear to be so right. All the details seemingly line up; and here’s the clincher, folks will try to persuade us to make the choice that seems right. Only problem is that it’s not the right choice. If we make it, we’ll be sorry.
This is a period of synchronization for you. It’s an alignment with the Will of God for your life, where both the rich blessing and the next divine appointment will be realized. Your faith will be tested. You might think it is a simple test to pass, after all, you’re not a neophyte on this Christian journey. You’ve had some seasoning, but pay close attention to what is happening nationally and globally. Examine how that which has been done in the dark for so long is now coming to the light. Consider the depth of darkness by which we are being attacked—our intelligence, beauty, and standards mocked and compared in the most demeaning way to an animal. This is an insidious diversionary tactic. It’s ugly, but don’t be distracted.
Much is done to sow seeds of bitterness and shock, so that you will miss opportunities, so that when the synchronizing shift occurs, you will be out of place. Are your conversations centered around the non-sense? Is the world’s condition unsettling your peace? Are you finding it challenging to focus your attention on what God is doing in your life? Is your faith waning? If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, know that the enemy and his cohorts are presenting you with out-of-synch options. They are trying to persuade you to look away. Don’t fail the test. Have faith in God!
2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NLT) says, “But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” We’re moving into new territory. It may be a bit unsettling, because the security blankets we’ve relied on are no longer secured. It’s God 100%. You’ve got to lean on Him like never before, and trust that the desire you’ve had in your heart is close at hand. You can trust the Lord Jesus Christ to anchor you even though all else is shaky. The Lord is faithful. He’s got your back. He’s doing a mighty work in your life.
Remember that this next level of blessing isn’t just about you. It’s about those who will be blessed simply because they are in the same vicinity as you are. Because God honors your prayers, the blessing will fall upon them as well. This is why there is such opposition to your positioning and conditioning. You are introducing the Kingdom so that God’s Will is done on earth as it is in heaven, but what if you miss your place? Many have made this mistake. The enemy will test your alertness and attention to God’s business. Much is riding on your endurance and patience through this process, and you’re going to have to resist your urge to go back to the levels of immature faith in your past.
Everything feels crazy. The proverbial cat is out of the bag, and we might as well stop talking about how things used to be. What used to be is no more, and we can’t put that cat back in the bag. It may be hard for you to imagine, but this chaos is a sign that your blessing is breaking through, and you want to be prepared when the dust settles. The Apostle Paul gave us superior strategy in Philippians 3:13(NLT) when he said, “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.” God has things in motion for you. Press into the Holy Spirit within. Let him guide you. Stay focused, your season is here!■
